Farmer's Organic Botanical Gin

Farmer's Organic Gin is produced by Crop Harvest Earth Co, a distillery dedicated to producing spirits from organically grown crops. This gin begins with a base spirit made from organically and sustainably grown grain. While the entire botanical recipe is a company secret, it's known that the lineup includes juniper, elderflower, lemon grass, coriander, and angelica root, all of which, along with other undisclosed botanicals, are organically grown. Following distillation in small batches, the gin is then bottled at 46.7% ABV.
 
TASTING NOTES
"This is a wonderful gin and a very capable and early example of the American craft gin movement. As befitting the category, juniper has been toned down a bit compared to the classic London Dry style. That is not to say that it is not present, but rather it plays an important part of a botanical chorus instead of a star soloist. Other voices include a creamy, white floral character and a salty/citrusy blast of lemongrass that is especially present on the long, complex finish. Coriander also contributes a bit of earth to ground the more high-toned notes and the relatively high alcohol gives persistence and intensity to all of the flavors. Although a slight step away from the classics, don’t be afraid to mix up a delicious martini and use in all cocktails that employ a citrus character."
