Votanikon Greek Gin (Dram)

When we set out to create Votanikon Gin, we wanted to give it a distinctly Greek flavor.
 
A Greek gin that takes full advantage of the bounty of botanical delights that its country has to offer. It contains 20 different botanical and herbs, many native to Greece including mountain tea from Olympus, royal dittany from Crete, juniper from the mountains of Macedonia, Kozani Crocus, Chios Mastic, citrus and chamomile from the Peloponnese, and oregano and sage from Amorgos.

Tasting Notes
Nose – Aromatic with classic juniper and complex herbal notes with Greek mountain tea to the fore. Effortlessly smooth and well-rounded with a citrus, spicy finish.
 
Palate – Herbal alcohol base comes to the fore on the palate. She holds and releases the different notes to maximum effect. Herbal notes blend in with lemongrass citrus notes towards the end for a long lingering taste. The oily, smooth mouthfeel is dangerously good. It is time to start finding pleasure in the simple and small things, like Greece's pristine natural environment. Perfect on the rocks with citrus/rosemary garnish or light tonic water. Best paired with mediterranean dishes.
